About the event
Tour advice — face wide open, aim left, dig steeply and trust the bounce — backfires for most amateurs. The fix: present a near-square club and skim a shallow layer of sand so the sole and leading edge glide through. You create the shallowness with technique, not by relying on a high-bounce, wide-open face. Simpler setup, far more repeatable escapes.
